September, the month of fashion is here; and while everyone is eagerly waiting for the Beyonce exclusive Vogue release, Kenya is busy preparing another black star for the world! Audrey Rendo, one of the quite established models in Kenya, who also runs her own fashion blog, is competing to become the next Miss Progress International.
The pageant, which was originally coined in Italy in 2009 to promote the Italian traditions, history, natural beauties and artistic talents, will be hosting its 6th edition this year, which has attracted 23 models from different countries across the world.
Participating models in the Miss Progress International beauty pageant live side by side in a real multi-sensory experience that brings them to know closely the history, the traditions and the natural and artistic beauties of the land that hosts them, sharing their feelings and experiencing the same emotions.
Projects are then written by each participant, dedicated to Environment, Health and Human Rights, highlighting dramatic situations often completely unknown; and it is up to the jury to determine the most feasible, rewarding it with support for its realization.
Audrey Rendo is currently the front runner in the votes tally with a safe margin of over 1000 votes, but you really need to keep voting to make sure she maintains her lead with slighly over 30 days remaining to the the close of voting. Tallying of votes ends on 28th of September 2018 at 12 pm Italian time. (UTC+2)
