This years edition of the annual Mr and Miss MKU was going down at the KICC, Tsavo ball room on the 10th of November and the organizers were not shy of putting up a stunning show to crown the new ambassadors. With a great line up of celebrity appearances and performances from Rankaddah of the Kansoul, the Hip Hop Kahuna himself and celebrated rapper Khaligraph Jones and the street king DJ Lyta, the night was never getting old.
Over 15 contestants were on the runway, to prove their credentials for this crown, and all the good tidings that come with it but we could only have one male and one female winner. Eliud Michael Ng’ang’a, who was trying his luck at this for the third time now, carried the day among the male models in a tight race which not only proved his strong spirit but also his passion for what he loves. Fashion!
On the other end, the young, bold and beautiful Miss Environment Kenya Nyandarua County, Miss Ann Njoroge, put up a masterclass display to become the new Miss MKU, sending smiles and loud cheers across the crowd. This years’ event was themed as “Talent Hits A Target No One Else Can Hit” and was being hosted by Churchill grown comedian and professional thespian Smart Joker.
